Thanx for your comment. I agree with u on the point that it’s unfair to ’forget’ to water your plants and unfortunate that anybody should need to use the roly poly pot at all. But its at least better than ignoring the plant altogether, isnt it? So it’s not making money ’at the expense of the well-being of their flowers’. rather, it ensures that the plants dont die of thirst. i am not sure how the examples of monkeys

It says in the last paragraph that they are not even being manufactured yet, so you have a few days to worry about it. While I think its a great idea on paper, my plants would fall off various shelves, ledges, tables etc. Then they’d be REALLY thirsty.

Wow, those poor plants. Plants really don’t like moving around that much. I’d be interested to hear from someone who keeps their plants in roly poly pots ... do they actually thrive? Is it so hard to remember when to water your plants?
Monkeys and rats live longer than normal lifespans when you keep them at near-starvation levels but I would hardly call that ”saving their lives”.
This comment may seem extreme, but this invention, although undoubtedly cute and clever, strikes me as another cheap gimmick designed to make money off lazy people at the expense of the well-being of their flowers.
